Some really insane pictures of Tesla Coils, enjoy! I particularly like the ones where he has the sparks coming off his head.

Theo Jansen is an artist and kinetic sculptor living and working in the Netherlands. He builds large works which resemble skeletons of animals which are able to walk using the wind on the beaches of the Netherlands.

I want to ride one of those to work everyday. Sweet.

Stratastencil, a simply amazing stop-motion animation with cut paper.

An experimental animation exploring the “Stratastencil” technique that I’ve devised. Inspired by the Stratacut technique, Stratastencil is an additive process. Stratacut removes material to reveal another layer, while this technique adds another layer while still showing the layer before it. -Javan Ivey

Digital Blasphemy had been online for around 14 years creating desktop backgrounds for single and dual monitors. These incredibly detailed backgrounds are created with Lightwave 3D and other tools. Their themes ranges from natural to sci-fi and back again. It’s hard for me to choose one.

Portal logo

There once was a buggy AI
Who decided her subject should die.
When the plot was uncovered,
The subjected discovered
That sadly the cake was a lie.

Granted I’ve been playing Portal for 2 months now, I thought I’d post about it. Portal should be game of the year in ’07.

This game makes me want to make cake. Portal revives the faith in 3rd person shooters I have not had since the first Half-Life came out 10 years go.

If you haven’t gone out and bought Orange Box yet (that comes with Portal), go and get it, it’s worth it just for Portal and Team Fortrest 2.
